For over 60 years, Van Duijnen is a nationwide supplier of coffee machines and ingredients. Also, the company services beverage equipment for third parties, and is active in tap automation. In the summer of 2004, a successful relaunch was achieved by the publicly listed European Development Capital Corporation (EDCC), together with its investment advisor Revival, and the current management. The management obtained a minority interest.
In 2005, EDCC decided to sell its interest in Van Duijnen for strategic reasons. Several parties were invited to bid. On January 18, 2006, the management of Van Duijnen Holding realised, together with Écart, a Management Buy-Out. At the same time, Mr. Harm Tunteler joined, as a co-shareholder and as a Commissioner. Mr. Tunteler’s professional experience includes a directorship at Douwe Egberts Coffeesystems Nederland BV, and Smit Dorlas Koffiebranders BV.
