Roldo Rent specialises in hiring out sustainable and professional removal materials to moving and distribution companies, libraries and end-users. Roldo Rent stems from moving Geijtenbeek (1934). The latter was a leading name at the time the company was acquired by Van Gend & Loos in 1966. Jan, the son of founder Gerard, specialized in the organization of business relocations. In order to improve speed and efficiency, he developed the Roldo, a flexible trolley for office and library relocations. In 1981 he established Roldo Rent B.V. In 1993 he was succeeded by his son, Gerard. Gerdine Leeuwis joined the organization in 2009. In 2010, she acquired shares in the company and becomes co-director Écart participated from June 1999 to September 2013 as a minority shareholder. Reason for participation were the establishment of a German subsidiary, and the financing of growth in The Netherlands. In October 2013, the management bought the equity stake of Écart and herewith acquired all shares in the company.
