R & A Invest is the holding company of RM (Netherlands) BV (“RMNL”). RMNL was founded in 1998 by Royal Mail Group Plc. RMNLoperates on the global postal market. From the automated sorting center, the company handles all domestic and internationalmail flows, packages and direct mail.

On May 11, 2005, the management and Écart obtained all shares of RMNL from Royal Mail Group Plc. Prior to this Management Buy-Out, Royal Mail Group had decided to focus primarily on its home market, the United Kingdom. Point of departure at the time of the MBO, was the significance of the company and the long-term customer/supplier relationship between the two companies. The current CEO, Roger Andriessen, is involved in the company since 2002 and has significantly contributed to the company’s success. With the help of Écart Invest 1 B.V. and of ABN-AMRO Bank, Roger Andriessen en Alexander Hendriks were able to realize the acquisition.

On June 8th 2016, Écart sells her shares in R&A to the management. Écart participated for a period of eleven years in the company and realized a good annual return on its investment.
