Balance Ervaring op Projectbasis is an independent agency that manages, executes and supervises temporary projects. Its clients are primarily large public and private organizations.
Balance was founded in 1995 by its general manager, Arjen van Zuydam, and Écart. After a successful launch and expansion in the areas of financial management, Balance Technisch Management was established in 1997, of which subsidiary Wim Lochtenberg was director, co-funder and joint shareholder. In 2001 and 2003 respectively, Balance Juridisch& Management B.V. and Balance Public Management B.V. were established. Co-funder and joint-shareholders were the directors of these subsidiaries. In 2004, Balance consists of four companies and realizes a turnover of 24 million euros. Its net profit amounted to 2.7 million euros. On July 19, 2005, shareholders reached agreement with Hudson Highland Group Inc (Nasdaq: HHGP) on the sale of Balance.
